We are seeking a skilled Chemical Operator to manage and operate chemical mixing and compounding equipment, pumps, valves, and hoses. The ideal candidate will efficiently transport materials using forklifts and meticulously follow batch sheets while documenting daily activities. Precision in measuring raw materials and performing mathematical calculations is essential for ensuring the correct proportions and percentages of materials. You will also be responsible for conducting quality control checks on finished, in-process, and raw materials.

Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing facility with approximately 35 personnel across production, shipping, and receiving. You will work with about 10 people daily, depending on the blend type. The environment is typically hot and dirty, with compounding machines operating at high temperatures (200-500 degrees). We manufacture oils, lubricants, and other chemicals for the Mining, Cement, and Power Generation markets, requiring comfort in such conditions. The team generally consists of 2 to 4 people per blend, and the position is for the 1st shift, starting at 5 : 00 a.m. and ending at 1 : 30 p.m. Be prepared for 8 to 10-hour workdays, with potential overtime up to 12 hours and occasional Saturday shifts. Teamwork is highly valued, and all employees are expected to assist with various tasks. Adherence to safety processes, standards, and ISO regulations is mandatory.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00 / hr.
