Job Overview
The Deferred Compensation Lead Analyst is a detailed oriented business analyst that will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions by using data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.
The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders and other partners to identify business challenges, gather and document requirements, and recommend improvements to the systems and processes. The candidate will be also responsible for addressing production issue and supporting the Deferred Compensation groups.
- Applies an in-depth technical expertise in Deferred Compensation principles, practices and procedures.
- Manages and support the deferred compensation application by addressing system issues, data quality and integrations with other applications.
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements and translates them into user stories, process flows and data models.
- Liaises with technology partners in the identification and resolution of production issues, as well as projects and new enhancements.
- Manages system user acceptance testing to ensure expected outcomes with functionality.
- Work closely with business partners and technology to develop, design and implement new solutions or changes to existing applications.
- Support project management activities including timelines, deliverables and stakeholder communications.
- Partners with Payroll, Tax, Legal and Finance to ensure proper reporting of plan activities.
- Ensures all processes are completed with accuracy and within required timeframes.
- Identifies and implement process improvements.
- Resolve escalated issues for partners and employees.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made.
Qualifications :
5-10 years of experience in Compensation or Deferred Compensation
Experience with JIRA, SQL, Workday, Service NOW and reporting tools preferredExperience with managing global applications with complex requirementsProficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS ExcelAbility to meet deadlines while dealing with multiple priorities.Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skillsDeveloped diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers.Education :
Bachelor's / University degree, Master's degree preferred
