Do you love pets and have a passion for social media? DVM Elite is looking for a Social Media Specialist to create eye-catching graphics and compelling captions that help veterinary clients grow and connect with pet parents.
In this role, you'll help drive forward social media strategies and collaborate with our account managers (who we call Practice Strategists) and the digital marketing team to bring client brands-and the work they do to care for pets-to life.
The majority of our client social media content is prescheduled on a monthly content calendar, while another portion consists of custom requests. In this role, you will design graphics and write captions for five to six different audience segments each month for Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms.
You will also schedule posts in Sprout Social, maintain the monthly content calendar, handle any custom social media requests, and build and post weekly segments for our clients' Google Business Profiles and monitor performance of all social media initiatives.
What We're Looking For :
We're looking for a Social Media Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment and is passionate about creating engaging pet content for pet parents. This role is responsible for creating and scheduling a high volume of monthly social media content for our veterinary clients, with a few clients in the human health sector as well.
The ideal candidate should communicate clearly, contribute ideas that support client goals, and demonstrate a positive attitude and professionalism.
This is a 100% remote role, so self-motivation and ownership of tasks are required for success.
Job Requirements :
- At least two years of experience creating high-volume social media content, preferably in an agency setting.
- An understanding of current social media principles, strategies, and trends.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Skilled in writing persuasive, compelling, and error-free copy for social media campaigns targeting U.S. or Canadian audiences.
- Existing social media design experience, proficient with Canva.
- Accuracy in scheduling posts and managing content calendars.
- Strong project management skills, able to handle multiple tasks, plan effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Experience with Canva, Sprout Social, and familiarity with HubSpot.
Work Hours : Must be available to work 20-30 hours per week and be online during U.S. time zones (preferably EST), regardless of your location.
