As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will be the first point of contact for all visitors and personnel. Your primary responsibilities include managing access control, verifying credentials, and providing exceptional customer service. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a strong presence and utilizing your communication skills. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where professionalism, reliability, and teamwork are highly valued.

Pay Rate : $23.78 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeFri09 : 00 PM - 05 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials of individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed following established protocols.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of visitor activity and security-related incidents occurring at the front desk.
  • Communicate professionally with all personnel and visitors, providing information or directions as needed while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal or client procedures, including notification of appropriate personnel and coordination with first responders.
  • Operate and monitor security-related systems such as access control, visitor management, and / or surveillance equipment as required by the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Candidates who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • CPR and / or first aid experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
