Intellectual Property Paralegal

Overview

Client is a small business in Fort Lauderdale, FL. We are a full-service Intellectual Property law firm. We work with inventors and business owners to protect their ideas, names, logos, creations, etc. We handle a very active litigation and prosecution docket dealing with highly complex IP issues, such as patent and trademark infringement, theft of trade secrets, and attorney malpractice cases. No case here is the same as the last.

Responsibilities

• Review the accuracy of legal documents
• Attend to the electronic filing of legal documents
• Keep clients up to date on legal matters
• Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Record and store client information in an electronic docketing system
