A very well known Tortilla Manufacturing Company in the Inland Empire is seeking a Receiving Clerk .

Position Tittle :  Receiving Clerk

Working Hours :   6 AM to 2 : 30 PM (OT as Needed)

Working Days :  Monday - Friday (Saturday's as Needed)

Pay Rate :  $20 - $21 DOEJob Duties

  • Operate standard manual and automatic equipment
  • Receive and unpacks materials and supplies
  • Verify receipts against purchase order for proper shipment, shortages, damages or defects
  • Enter all information in the M2M system
  • Investigate discrepancies on received orders and make any needed correction into M2M system
  • Expedite material to proper department or storage location
  • Operate power trucks to move materials
  • Deliver all original paperwork to Accounting daily

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years shipping and receiving or related experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in using a computer
  • Ability to utilize basic math skills including fractions and decimals required
  • Ability to use and read tape measure, calipers, and scale
  • Ability to operate forklift and pallet jack following all safety rules is required
  • Basic knowledge of the use of hand and power tools (i.e., drills, hand saws, table saw etc.) is a plus
  • Self-motivated team player with the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to adhere to ethical principles that reflect the highest standards of organizational and individual behavior including taking responsibility for own actions and comply with all laws and regulations
  • Possess effective organizational and time management skills, be detail oriented, manage competing priorities for multiple projects and consistently meet all deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and foster cooperative relationships and credibility at all levels of the organization
  • Valid California driver license and acceptable driver record required
  • Must be able to work Saturday rotations
