POSITION SCOPE :

Establish and maintain process parameters to fulfill daily production schedules, minimize scrap, and maximize equipment availability.

QUALITY SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITY :

The Mold Technician has the responsibility to initiate action to prevent product non-conformity, identify and record quality problems, recommend and implement solutions, verify implementation, identify and dispose of scrap properly, and report deficiencies to supervisor.

MANAGEMENT SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Act in compliance with the company Health & Safety policies and procedures including any applicable legislation.
• Notify the appropriate personnel of any situation or condition that may contribute to product non-conformity.
• Comply with the Environmental Policy and contribute to its goals and objectives accordingly.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS :

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

2 year (or higher) technical degree or equivalent work experience in plastics / automotive manufacturing.
