As a Security Professional - Healthcare Patrol Unarmed in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence and routine patrols help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will play a key role in supporting a caring culture that puts people first, working with a team that values integrity, reliability, and innovation. Pay Rate : $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

  • Mon : 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM
  • Tue : 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM
  • Fri : 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM
  • Sat : 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM
  • Sun : 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

    • Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized persons on the premises.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and / or providing directions as needed.
  • Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations or other urgent situations as directed by site leadership.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of daily activities, incidents, and / or observations as required by the site.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, staff, visitors, and emergency personnel while representing Allied Universal.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
