Office Specialist
The City of Topeka's Probation office is seeking an organized and detail-oriented professional to join its team. This position provides complex administrative support to probation staff and plays a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of the office. Responsibilities include managing communication, maintaining records, assisting with scheduling, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment.
What You'll Do :
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence for the office.
- Maintain accurate and complete probation records and case files.
- Conduct research, verify compliance and provide reports as requested.
- Provide efficient and pleasant customer service to clients, members of the public, and colleagues.

High School Diploma or its equivalent is required.Associate's degree in office management, office technology or a related field is preferred.Two years of clerical experience is required. One year of supervisory experience is preferred.Must be able to pass an extensive background check and must not be registered on the Kansas child or adult abuse registry.Minimum Entry Rate of Pay : $20.97 per hour
