REGISTERED NURSE | Walk-In Clinic\n\nJOB SUMMARY\n\nThe Clinic Registered Nurse plans and delivers professional nursing care to patients. Provides professional nursing care to assigned patients in an outpatient facility or clinic. Records patient histories, performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops patient care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary. May call in pharmacy refills.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\n
- Performs patient assessment and documents in patient record.\n
- Utilizes the nursing process to adapt interventions to meet age-appropriate care, including physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs, in collaboration with other members of the health care team.\n
- Implements and evaluates care interventions, delegates appropriately and ensures documentation of interventions.\n
- Evaluates progress towards the prescribed plan of care and coordinates care with clinic providers and intervenes as necessary. Ensures proper documentation.\n
- Educates patient and families regarding current health status, plan of care, and anticipated outcomes.\n
- Ensures superior ongoing patient satisfaction and customer service.\n
- Maintains professional standards related to clinical practice, staffing and continuing education.\n
- Practices fiscal responsibility and accountability.\n
- Maintains a clean and safe environment.\n
- May be required to work in other clinic environments according to distribution of staff and patient loads.\n
- Complies with the hospitals Corporate Compliance Program including, but not limited to, the Code of Conduct, laws and regulations, and hospital, department and clinic policies and procedures.\n
- Must be free from governmental sanctions involving health care and / or financial practices.\n

- Education\n
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.\n
- Licensure\n
- Current Wyoming Registered Nurse license\n
- Certifications required\n
