Automation Program Manager / Lead BA (St Louis)

We are seeking a Program Manager with a strong Business Analyst background to lead automation and process improvement initiatives. This individual will manage a small team of analysts and contractors, partner with clients to deliver on key initiatives, and ensure requirements are clearly defined for development teams. The role requires a balance of leadership, client-facing communication, and hands-on BA expertise.

Manage 34 direct / indirect reports (mix of FTEs and contractors).

Act as lead Business Analyst, guiding requirements gathering, process documentation, and design deliverables.

Partner with business stakeholders to conduct discovery and translate needs into requirements for development teams.

Support automation initiatives (RPA / UIPath / Blue Prism), ensuring analysts capture and communicate requirements effectively.

Prepare and deliver client-facing updates, presentations, and program reporting.

Oversee execution of projects, monitor risks / issues, and ensure deliverables meet business needs.

Experience in RPA / automation projects within healthcare or large enterprises.

Prior people management experience.

Familiarity with Agile delivery models.

Program Manager / Lead Business Analyst

Strong Business Analyst background with experience in requirements gathering, process documentation, and working closely with developers.

Knowledge of automation tools (preferably UIPath or Blue Prism; others acceptable if adaptable).

Experience leading or mentoring Business Analysts; formal management experience preferred but not required.

Comfortable in client-facing settings, able to present updates and represent the team.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.
