Talent Acquisition Specialist
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the onboarding process for all new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization. This role involves coordinating orientation, handling required documentation, and providing initial Human Resources support by triaging immediate team member questions. Additionally, the specialist provides Human Resources and Talent Acquisition operational support to include processing internal transfers, making payroll / payout requests, maintaining department files, answering team member / new hire inquiries, and coordinating meetings / events to ensure a smooth workflow across the team.
Responsibilities :
- Communicates with candidates, new hires, and team members to provide information about the organization and position, including compliance and regulatory requirements, benefits, and other HR queries.
- Prepare onboarding packets for orientation and departmental processes.
- Aids other HR professional team members when needed.
- Facilitate the handover of candidate information for background checks, paperwork, and orientation to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Verifies status of licensures and certifications are always current for new hires and communicates to team members and managers as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and organized records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Processes payouts (relocation, bonuses, referrals, etc.) and works directly with payroll to ensure all payments are made to team members per program guidelines.
- Participates in recruiting events.
- Follows up on reference checks that are returned needing additional information.

Associate's degreePreferred : Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, Marketing or related field or equivalent related experience.Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.3-5 years of clerical administrative experience.2-3 years of public facing customer service face to face, phone, and electronic communications.Ability to maintain important documents systematically.Preferred : Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and resume databases.Preferred : 1-2 years' experience in a Recruiting and / or onboarding support role.Preferred : Some experience in HR or in a relevant role preferred.
