Job Description American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN with CT license, AWHONN and Epic experience for night shifts at a Level I Trauma Center.

Responsibilities Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a short-term acute care hospital

Position is at a large Level I Trauma Center

Night shift (4x12 hour shifts, 19 : 00–7 : 30)

Three or four 12-hour shifts per week, with call requirement if working 3x12s

Weekend shifts required every other weekend

On-call requirement of 16 hours per 6-week schedule block

Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs

Epic EMR is used and experience is required

Block scheduling cannot be accommodated

Must complete hospital-specific online modules prior to start

Scrubs are provided by the facility

Flu vaccine required without exceptions; COVID vaccine and booster required unless exempted for medical or religious reasons

Return staff must have a two-year gap before eligibility as a traveler

No locals accepted within 75 miles of the facility

Holiday coverage may be required as scheduled

Time off requests greater than 7 days require approval

Requirements Active CT RN license required by start date; pending license accepted if obtained prior

Minimum 2 years of high-risk Labor & Delivery experience required

AWHONN certification required

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Level I Trauma Center experience in a large facility required

Epic EMR experience is required

First-time travelers accepted

Applicants must live at least 75 miles from the facility
