Credit Analyst

Join a Federal Contract supporting a government-backed loan program as a Credit Analyst.

The position is fully onsite and potential for full-time (W2) or part-time (1099) roles. Multiple positions available and must live in the Greater Washington D.C. region : Virginia, the District, or Maryland.

Requirements : U.S. Citizenship

Bachelor's in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Similar

5+ years of experience in federal and commercial underwriting

Familiarity with GAAP, FCRA, and OMB Circular A-129

Skilled in complex debt structuring and assessing private sector project finance

Technology Sector underwriting experience

Must pass Federal Background Check

Skills :

Assess applicants' financial capacity

Ensure compliance with applicable regulations

Identify and mitigate credit risks

Support the development of well-documented, risk-adjusted underwriting decisions

Contribute to loan structuring

Assist in effectively communicating decisions to applicants

Preferred : Masters or MBA

Federal Government Loan experience

Program Management Professional certification, CPA, Chartered Financial Analyst
