Join our Operations Division team as an Operator and help make a significant impact on our city. In this role, you'll operate a variety of equipment used to construct, maintain, and repair the City's streets and alleys, public right-of-way, storm water system infrastructure, and sidewalks. You'll also be responsible for snow and ice removal, and handle other severe weather operations.

What is the typical schedule?
A typical work schedule is 7 a.m. 3 p.m. On occasion, depending on the season, work may be a varied schedule including nights and weekends; ability and willingness to respond to situations twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, including participation in snow and ice removal operations, other severe weather operations, and other Public Works operations as directed is required for this position.
What is the pay?
The starting annual salary for this position is $43,577 ($20.95 per hour); this is a non-exempt position. This position is also eligible for annual economic adjustments and performance-based adjustments, as approved by the City Council.
