Who We are Looking for :
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you'll be managing financial processes, contributing directly to our efficiency and accurate financial reporting.
Responsibilities :
- Accounts Payable Management : Accurately register all accounts payable invoice payments within SAP, our enterprise resource planning system.
- Credit & Collections Leadership : Manage incoming customer payments and lead our credit management process to ensure timely collections and maintain healthy cash flow.
- Financial Close Support : Provide essential assistance during month-end and quarter-end closing procedures, contributing to timely and accurate financial statements.
- Expense Report Approval : Review and approve expense reports efficiently and in accordance with company policies.
- Mileage Program Oversight : Support the business mileage log program, ensuring meticulous record-keeping and compliance.
- Account Reconciliations : Perform regular and thorough account reconciliations to maintain the integrity and accuracy of our financial records.
- Reporting & Analysis : Assist in comprehensive sales and cost reporting and analysis and create and update various vital monthly financial reports.
- Stakeholder Relations : Cultivate and maintain positive, professional relationships with both our valued customers and vendors.
Qualifications We Are Seeking
Experience : 2+ years of experience in accounting or similar roles / responsibilities.Reporting Acumen : Experience preparing monthly financial reports is preferred.SAP Proficiency : Knowledge of SAP is an advantage; however, we are committed to providing training for the right candidate.Education : A bachelors degree in accounting or a related business field is preferred.Technical Skills : Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, as it will be a primary tool in your daily responsibilities.Communication : Great communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for effective collaboration.Organizational Prowess : organizational skills with a attention to detail is required.Adaptability & Drive : A proactive approach to task management, strong follow-through, and the ability to adapt seamlessly to evolving priorities within a dynamic environment.What We Offer
