Law Office of Domingo Garcia
We are seeking an experienced Senior Immigration Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage a caseload ranging from 50 to 100 immigration cases.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file immigration forms, including but not limited to : DS-260, I-864, I-130, I-601A, I-601, I-485, I-944, I-765, G-28 , and other relevant USCIS or consular forms.
- Understand when and where specific immigration forms must be filed.
- Prepare clients for hearings, USCIS interviews, and consulate appointments.
- Conduct legal and factual research relevant to each case.
- Translate civil documents as needed.
- Gather, organize, and analyze information for case preparation; report findings to the attorney.
- Collect necessary supporting documents from clients.
- Perform administrative duties, including :
Entering case notes, deadlines, and tasks.
Scheduling interviews and hearings.Maintaining and organizing client folders.Filing documents and managing incoming / outgoing mail.Respond to calls from current and former clients.Complete various tasks assigned by attorneys or management.Ensure clients receive the highest level of customer service.Requirements
Bilingual in Spanish and English (spoken and written).Minimum 5 years of experience as an immigration paralegal.Excellent customer service and communication skills (oral and written).Strong ability to follow instructions, multitask, and work independently.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Hardworking, reliable, and trustworthy.Positive attitude and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.Proficient in MS Word Outlook , and online document management systems.Strong writing skills and the ability to work well in a small team environment.Compensation
