Identify potential safety hazards and work with construction teams to implement corrective measures to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in telecommunications, construction inspection, or related field is preferred. 3+ years of experience in OSP construction inspection, preferably in the telecommunications industry. Thorough knowledge of OSP construction standards, practices, and safety regulations. Familiarity with fiber optic network infrastructure components, installation techniques, and testing procedures. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve construction-related issues effectively. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences. Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment, including measurement devices, testing instruments, and documentation software. Certifications such as BICSI OSP (Building Industry Consulting Service International - Outside Plant) Technician or equivalent are desirable.
