We are seeking a licensed Optometrist (OD) in Maryland to join our team. This position involves diagnosing and treating a full range of visual problems, prescribing corrective lenses, and managing ocular diseases. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care while collaborating with healthcare professionals to enhance overall eye health outcomes. Responsibilities As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for examining patients, diagnosing vision disorders, and prescribing treatment as per Maryland state laws. Your role includes conducting comprehensive eye exams, managing ocular conditions, and co-managing patient care with other healthcare providers. Additionally, you will play a key role in patient education and ensuring high-quality care standards within the practice.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams using a full range of optometric instruments and techniques.
• Diagnose and treat ocular diseases and vision disorders, prescribing appropriate corrective lenses.
• Fit and prescribe contact lenses and low-vision aids for visually impaired patients.
• Use diagnostic pharmaceutical agents for ocular pathology detection.
• Refer patients to specialists when necessary for further evaluation and treatment.
• Participate in departmental meetings, peer reviews, and educational programs.
• Work collaboratively with internal medicine, pediatrics, and ophthalmology teams.
• Assist in implementing eye care training programs for staff and patient education seminars.
