Overview
Benevento Companies, a premier supplier of construction materials in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, is seeking a Concrete Quality Control Technician to join our growing team. This position is based out of our Wilmington, MA location and plays a vital role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform field and lab testing on fresh concrete in accordance with ASTM standards (slump, air content, temperature, unit weight)
- Cast and transport test cylinders for compressive strength testing
- Collect and evaluate samples of aggregates and other mix materials
- Monitor plant production and jobsite pours to ensure compliance with mix designs and specifications
- Maintain accurate test records and input data into quality control systems
- Identify and report non-conforming results to supervisors and production staff
- Calibrate, maintain, and clean all testing equipment
- Collaborate with dispatch, drivers, and plant personnel to resolve quality concerns
