job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Monitor access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain records of individuals entering and exiting the location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and report any irregularities. Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and / or contractors, providing assistance and information as needed. Report security-related incidents, hazards, and / or unusual occurrences to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel. Support site operations by maintaining awareness of manufacturing and industrial activities within the location and adapting security-related procedures as needed. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Job Description
As a Security Officer - Access Control Patrol in Phoenixville, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.
As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will support a secure environment, while delivering outstanding customer service to all employees and visitors. What You'll Do :
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
