Sales Administrative Assistant
Location : Apex Marlborough, Ma
Position Overview : We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Sales Administrative Assistant to support our Sales Department. This role is essential in delivering outstanding service to guests and ensuring the smooth handling of inquiries, bookings, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be organized, personable, and knowledgeable about all aspects of Apex Entertainment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver exceptional guest service both in person and over the phone.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all Apex Entertainment offerings, including attractions, food and beverage, event options, hours of operation, and current promotions.
- Answer and manage incoming calls for Events, Birthdays, and General Inquiries in a timely, professional, and friendly manner.
- Accurately direct calls, take messages, and input new leads into our booking system.
- Respond to inquiries related to services, pricing, availability, and activities across all locations.
- Assist in gathering event information and entering leads for birthday parties, corporate events, group bookings, and more.
- Collect and maintain guest information, including contact details, event preferences, and special requests.
- Maintain a courteous and approachable demeanor while engaging with customers.
- Address guest concerns and escalate issues to the appropriate team when needed.
- Keep organized and accurate records of guest interactions and inquiries.
- Stay current with all Apex policies, services, and ongoing promotions to provide accurate and timely information.
- Support the Sales Manager with various administrative duties as needed.
- Foster positive guest relationships to encourage repeat business and drive new opportunities through word-of-mouth and positive reviews.
- Attend weekly sales meetings and stay informed on company updates and initiatives.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED required.1-2 years of experience in the food & beverage or hospitality industry.Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively.Comfortable working with numbers (e.g., calculating discounts, percentages).Professional, courteous, and team-oriented demeanor.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities or needs.Reliable transportation required.Demonstrated ability to maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and represent the organization positively.
