Marketing Business Operations Contractor

As a Marketing Business Operations Contractor, you'll play a critical role in enabling marketing teams to operate efficiently and effectively. You'll work across regions and functions to drive operational rigor, enhance program execution, and ensure that marketing investments are managed with precision. This role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to create clarity in a fast-moving, matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities

Budget Management

Track and manage budget commitments in line with financial planning frameworks.

Coordinate submission and approval of investment cases across global marketing teams.

Identify and reallocate underspend to priority initiatives.

Manage budget reallocations and forecasting processes using tools like UpTempo.

Partner with leadership to drive the annual marketing budget submission process.

Travel & Expense Management

Monitor and manage travel and expense budgets and actuals across the team.

Rhythm of the Business (ROB)

Create and distribute weekly updates for leadership.

Maintain the calendar and agendas for key team meetings.

Coordinate and manage quarterly town halls and other key team touchpoints.

Process Optimization

Evaluate existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and lead implementation of improvements.

Program Management

Lead cross-functional, high-priority marketing programs from planning through execution.

What You Bring

Experience :

5+ years in business operations, program / project management, or a similar role within a large, complex organization. Demonstrated ability to manage substantial budgets and lead cross-functional efforts.

Skills :

Strong organizational skills and a solid grasp of business operations and program management best practices. Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets and working with formulas. Comfortable working across cultures, time zones, and business units.

Tools :

Proficiency with GSuite, JIRA, Asana, Workday, and UpTempo is strongly preferred.
