Responsibilities

• Handle live videos, news pieces and magazine, reels, podcast, and promotional content
• Must be able to present audio and video programs based on program structure i.e. political, economic and social
• Deliver well-scripted as well as spontaneous content fluently and clearly
• Collaborate with the content and production team to plan creative video ideas
• Developing scripts for video and audio programs
• Organize and conducting interviews with officials and analysts
• Handle video documentaries and special reports for the Radio and social media channels
• Keep the program running to schedule, responding positively and quickly to problems or changes and improvising where necessary
• Conducting meetings with the production crew to assess or review the content and to plan the future activities
• Interview guests in the studio, by telephone or on location
• Find useful and attractive topics for visual programs
• Identify interesting topics for social media especially YouTube channel
• Direct the video programs and assist the tech team to get right and quality videos
• Follow up of updated news (Local, National and International)
• Sharing of newly generated ideas for video reports & radio programs
• Participate in the daily news meetings and share important information
• Liaise with other team members of the production and technical team
• Be able to implement social media platform best practices
• Should be comfortable creating video content and facing the camera regularly
• Ability to operate cameras, teleprompters, microphones, and other video equipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor
