Supply Chain Manager - System Drives

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for Supply Planning and Procurement at ABB Motion HighPower in New Berlin, WI, where you will be a key member of the Supply Chain Management team. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will manage short- to mid-term material availability by working closely with our suppliers as well as our sourcing, planning and fulfillment, logistics, quality and production teams.

You Will Be Mainly Accountable For :

• Secure material availability by proactively managing the supply network.
• Manage supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolve performance issues.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a stable and reliable supply of materials.
• Coordinate and monitor open purchase orders; reschedule orders when needed.
• Manage supplier buffers and optimize ABB inventory.
• Proactively work with Planning and Fulfillment to optimize MRP strategies and parameters (planning strategy, lot size, safety stock, reorder point, rescheduling logic).
• Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates on inventory status, delivery schedules and potential issues.
