Administrative Manager, Title Vi Office
Manage day-to-day business activities, including case management activities, working closely with the Title VI Coordinator and Title VI Office staff in support of the Title VI Office's strategic goals, including providing high-level administrative support in a fast-paced environment. Administer daily activities, engage in a broad range of projects, events and participate in office-wide initiatives to meet business needs and objectives. Manage documents maintained in the repositories, compose agendas and meeting materials for presentations and conferences, conduct research, data analysis and report on key issues related to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and companion state and city laws and regulations, manage internal / external communications, oversight of in-person, virtual, and hybrid meetings and events. The role requires technical skills to execute specific assignments, professional disposition, manage confidential / private information and a commitment to service the University's schools and administrative units via the Title VI Office.
Required Education : Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Required Experience : 5+ years related experience managing administrative matters for a legal or compliance office, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience in developing and maintaining databases for investigative casework.
Preferred Experience : 5+ years Experience working in a legal / compliance / investigatory setting for government or higher education.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities :
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $90,000.00 to USD $110,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
