About The Position

The Training Supervisor – Operations is responsible for the development and delivery of primarily – but not limited to -critical Operations job classifications in Fossil, Combustion Turbine, and Hydro generation. Key responsibilities include :

• Development and delivery of operations training for Ameren Missouri generation facilities
• Administering all aspects of operations training for the coal fleet, hydro, and / or combustion gas turbine facilities including but not limited to, initial training, ongoing refresher training, and new equipment / update training through various methods as required by accepted training standards and in compliance with procedure AUE-1810, Systematic Approach to Training
• Developing simulator training and testing material for use in training and qualification
• Scheduling courses, providing hands-on instruction, preparing, validating and grading exams, and evaluating student performance (including counseling) and implementing appropriate remedial measures
• Assume responsibility for the performance, conduct and appraisal of students
• Routinely review and revise training content as needed to ensure the most up-to-date information, processes and training methods are being utilized
• Work closely with customers and other learning stakeholders to assess and deliver training in the most consistent, effective, and efficient manner possible

After preliminary review, selected applicants must take the First Line Supervisor Test and obtain a recommended status in order to be eligible for additional selection procedures (e.g., interview) designated for this position.

Compensation Range : $102,500.00 - $158,900.00

At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
