Summary

We are a growing company providing innovative education services by leveraging IT technology. We are seeking a bilingual (English & Japanese) Business Development Manager to support our business expansion. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting market research, analyzing data, developing strategies, and executing sales activities to identify and grow new opportunities.

We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds from ambitious early-career professionals to those with several years of sales or business development experience. This role offers the chance to grow with the company while applying your ideas and expertise to shape our U.S. business!

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and identify potential client segments
  • Collect and analyze data to support business strategy and proposals
  • Collaborate with internal teams to suggest improvements and new initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through presentations and follow-ups
  • Contribute ideas to expand our presence in the U.S. market

    • Qualifications

  • Fluent in both Japanese and English (business level)
  • A positive team player with great interpersonal skills
  • Experience in business development, strategy planning, or related roles
  • Basic PC skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Understanding of, or affinity with, the IT and / or EdTech industry is a plus
  • Experience working in Japanese companies is a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

    • Compensation

    starts $60,000 - 80,000 / per year (DOE)
