Medical Biller

A company is looking for a Medical Biller in US Healthcare for a remote midshift position.

Key Responsibilities

Post medical charges, payments, and journal entries to patient accounts accurately and timely

Work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients to process and pay claims

Prepare, review, and transmit claims using billing software, while following up on unpaid claims

Required Qualifications

Experience in medical billing and coding

Knowledge of insurance guidelines including HMO / PPO, Medicare, and state Medicaid

Ability to handle protected health information in compliance with HIPAA

Familiarity with eligibility verification and denial management

Credentialing knowledge is a plus
