A day on the floor
It’s 3 : 00 p.m. in Ripon, WI, and your team gathers for a quick safety huddle. You set the tone for a safe, high-output evening, review KPIs, align staffing to the plan, and confirm training needs and 5S standards. Throughout the shift, you coach, remove roadblocks, and partner with technical staff to keep production flowing. You’re the first call for employee relations questions and you work closely with union stewards when contract or discipline topics arise. As the night wraps near 1 : 00 a.m., you capture wins, note improvements, and set goals for tomorrow.

- Lead a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all procedures
- Train, educate, and motivate team members on safe, efficient work practices
- Model servant leadership—coach, mentor, and show respect in every interaction
- Champion continuous improvement, lean thinking, and waste / risk reduction
- Verify Team Members are trained in safety, quality, equipment use, and 5S
- Encourage every team member to contribute ideas for improvement
- Collaborate with technical / engineering resources to resolve issues quickly
- Set annual goals aligned to operating metrics and track progress
- Reduce inventory and WIP through disciplined processes and problem solving
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations concerns
- Partner with union stewards on contract and disciplinary matters
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you bring
Demonstrated servant-leadership approach and team-first mindset1–3 years in fast-paced, medium / high-volume manufacturing with strong safety focus (preferred)Prior experience supervising in manufacturing (preferred)Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing Engineering, or Operations (preferred)Internship / co-op or other relevant professional experience consideredSkills to succeed
Self-driven, ambitious leader with coaching and supervisory experienceProficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and ExcelStrong problem solver who drives proactive thinking and solutionsFoundational knowledge of process control, production scheduling, Kaizen, Kanban, and Lean (preferred)Physical expectations
Stooping, bending, standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistanceSchedule and location
