Program Coordinator

The Program Coordinator will support the Program Manager in the execution and management of a variety of programs of varying complexity, and / or will manage some smaller and less complex programs on their own. The role will manage and acts as a liaison to the client, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders. The Program Coordinator will coordinate and track program activities and communications to ensure program goals are accomplished in accordance with master schedule and within budget parameters. This role involves coordinating with finance, contracts, and operations teams to ensure that project goals are met on time and within budget. The Program Coordinator will assist the Program Management team in development and administration of proposal packages. The ideal candidate is highly organized, an excellent communicator, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced aerospace environment while supporting multiple programs and Program Managers.

Position Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Manager in planning, executing, and closing projects. Take an active role in program control efforts, including program set-up and closeout, work breakdown structure establishment, developing and maintaining detailed master schedules, and tracking progress.
• Monitor and track project budgets, ensuring accurate financial reporting and adherence to budget constraints.
• Prepare regular internal and external reports on program status, including any variances in timelines and budgets. Communicate program status to key stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Coordinate closely with finance, contracts, and operations teams to facilitate seamless project execution.
• Assist in managing the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
• Organize and participate in program meetings, ensuring that actions are captured and followed up.
• Help the Program Manager identify, evaluate, control, and respond to project risks. Participate in internal and external risk reviews.
• Review and maintain comprehensive program documentation, plans, and reports.
• Support the Program Manager in resource planning, management, and budgeting.
• Ensure adherence to company protocols, standards, and best practices.
• Perform any additional tasks as required by the Program Manager.

The salary range for this role is : $61,111 - $86,625. AeroVironment considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the location, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education / training, and key skills.

ITAR Requirement : This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations ("ITAR") and / or the Export Administration Regulations ("EAR").
