About the Role

As a Sales Executive with Curry Sales, you will be responsible for strategizing with customers to generate and grow a profitable and manageable broad base of business.
Essential Job Functions :
Vendor Management
- Educates vendors on retailer expectations, strategies, processes and timelines
- Manages vendor life cycle
Relationship Management
Develops and grows creditable relationshipsManages relationship between vendor and buyerEducates new buyers on history, category and vendorBusiness Strategy
Develops strategies to drive brand and category growthStrategizes negotiation events and line reviews with vendorsStrategizes promotional plans; confirms actual events with retailerMakes recommendations that are reliable and value-addedCollaborates with partners to develop and execute plans that achieve sales objectivesIndustry, Market and Trend
Reads and understands market data and business trendsExplores new opportunities for growth using available market data with fact-based approachIdentifies new business opportunities and potential threats within the industryBusiness Line Management
Works collaboratively with retailer on product, packaging and market testingProvides guidance of competitive shopping pricingManages department timelines and calendarsCommunicates adds / deletes to vendor and teamManages presentations, business results, and recommendationsOther
Performs miscellaneous tasks as requiredUpholds Curry Sales vision and company valuesLocal, domestic and international travel could be requiredMinimum Job Requirements :
