Overview
We are looking for dedicated employees to join our team to help our customers have the best experience possible every time they enter a DTLR store.
The Housekeeping and Maintenance Associate supports timely and cost-effective maintenance services for the DTLR building, including the distribution center, corporate office, and call center. This role ensures a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment by performing a blend of housekeeping and maintenance duties.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, including the replacement of belts, lacing, pins, motors, gearboxes, chains, air valves, rollers, line shafts, accumulators, photo eyes, and other equipment in the distribution center.
- Identify and investigate mechanical issues, supporting maintenance mechanics with daily tasks as assigned.
- Perform light electrical work, such as bulb and ballast replacement and outlet removal.
- Perform light plumbing tasks, including replacing auto flush systems and sink drains.
- Execute outdoor landscape maintenance to maintain a neat and welcoming exterior.
- Maintain constant radio communication with supply chain, maintenance, and loss prevention leadership.
- Respond politely and promptly to all associate inquiries.
- Perform assisted preventive maintenance on all property, equipment, and mechanical systems with a proactive approach to system care.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and a proactive mindset in maintenance and housekeeping activities.
- Ensure cleanliness throughout corporate and distribution offices by detailing cleaning of restrooms, break areas, tile, carpeted floors, and windows; operate floor scrubbers and carpet cleaners as needed.
- Ability to be cross-trained in various distribution center departments to provide versatile support.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned to support operational excellence.
Qualifications and Skills
High School diploma or GED, and equivalent work experience. Basic math skills. Basic written and verbal skills. Ability to read and write numbers and letters. All necessary training will be provided onsite.Physical Requirements
Use hands to finger, handle and feel; Reach with hands and arms; Talk and / or hear.Stand for up to 8+ hours at a time if overtime is required.Must be able to push or pull pallets on a hand pallet jack weighing up to 750 lbs.Punctuality and regular attendance consistent with the company's policies are required.Average work week is 30-40 hours, which can vary depending on business need.General Information

Pay range : $20-$25 / hour (Depending on Experience); This role will be eligible for medical, dental, vision, 401k, sick leave, parental leave, and company paid time off plan.
