What you'll do
- Lead process improvement initiatives using tools such as 5S, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and time and motion studies to eliminate quality losses and deviations in a distribution center, following Walmart's Performance System (WPS).
- Compile and submit deviations to existing playbooks and contribute to divisional improvement teams.
- Assist in deploying the WPS methodology, manage project execution for top quality losses, and build capability among managers and associates.
- Create area quality loss profiles and performance metrics, develop gap analyses, and lead quality-related savings projects.
- Support department managers with WPS projects, associate engagement, and KPI improvements.
- Deliver results through KPI analysis, loss elimination, and standard work creation to reduce process variation.
- Coordinate activities, develop relationships with stakeholders, and support plans to meet customer and business needs.
- Hire, train, mentor, and develop associates, fostering a culture of belonging and high performance.
- Ensure compliance with policies and support Walmart's mission and values, promoting ethical practices and accountability.
- Build high-performing teams, embrace diversity, and create an inclusive workplace.
- Act with integrity, maintaining high standards of ethics and compliance, and support Walmart's sustainability goals.
- Deliver excellent customer service by making data-driven decisions, balancing priorities, and considering all stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement, adopt new technologies, and support change management initiatives.

The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00 - $156,000.00, with additional bonuses and potential location-based pay adjustments.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 3 years' experience in Quality or Process Improvement OR 5 years' experience in Engineering or Process Improvement with Lean Six Sigma certification. Demonstrated project ownership resulting in sustainable savings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building and implementing a Quality Management System, including statistical process control, FMEA, and quality KPIs. Experience in a Total Performance Management environment.
