Pediatrics Physician

Location : Dickinson, ND Dickinson offers a peaceful rural North Dakota lifestyle with access to beautiful natural landscapes and outdoor recreational activities. The city provides a strong sense of community while being conveniently located about 90 miles from Bismarck, the state capital. Facility : This facility is a Critical Access Hospital featuring a Labor and Delivery / Pediatrics Unit with a Level II nursery. The medical center collaborates with local healthcare networks to provide comprehensive pediatric care to the community, maintaining strong working relationships across entities. Opportunity : Board Certified / Board Eligible - Pediatrics Job Details :

• 24-hour call shifts, 7 days per month with ongoing coverage opportunities through 2026
• Attend vaginal deliveries when requested
• Attend all scheduled and emergent C-Sections
• Admit and discharge newborns
• Provide care for pediatric patients (approximately 2-3 patients per day)
• Perform circumcisions, newborn resuscitation, intubations, UVC placements, and lumbar punctures
• Work with comprehensive support staff including nursing team, Level II nursery nurses, anesthesia, OB / GYNs, and respiratory therapists
• Consult with local pediatricians and NICU physicians in Bismarck when needed
• Utilize Meditech EMR system
• Must hold active North Dakota license or IMLC
• Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP
• Clean malpractice history required
• Emergency privileges can be granted for November start Compensation : Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
