Description
This is a STEM software engineering intern position with Leidos' Transportation Solutions business unit. Specifically, you will be working on teams responsible for developing and maintaining FAA air traffic control software. The environment is primarily Java and Python languages on a UNIX / Linux platform. Seeking applicants with Computer Science / Software Engineering background and interest. Design, develop, document, test and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business / mission problems. Apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the software development life cycle. Familiarity with UNIX / Linux, Java, Python, and multi-threaded programming or equivalent development and debugging environment beneficial. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Primary Responsibilities
In this position, you will work with a team of software developers, system integrators and system engineers supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Future Flight Services Program. Specific responsibilities include :

Pay Range :
Pay Range $39,650.00 - $71,675.00
