As the AR Supervisor, you will oversee the company's credit risk position and ensure that credit policies and procedures are applied effectively. You will lead and support a team handling credit review, customer account setup, collections, and cash application. This role involves evaluating customer creditworthiness, setting credit limits, and minimizing risk while protecting customer relationships. You will collaborate with management, sales, and customer service to address account concerns, monitor credit performance, and recommend process improvements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Establish and enforce company credit policies to manage financial riskReview and act on delinquent accounts to reduce collection exposureEvaluate and recommend credit lines for new and existing customers in line with policyOversee accurate set-up of customer accounts and implement verification processesSupervise daily activities of the credit team, providing guidance, support, and performance feedbackMonitor key performance indicators for credit and collections, identifying trends and recommending improvementsCommunicate credit status, risk concerns, and recommended actions to management, sales, and business unit leadersEngage directly with customers to set expectations on account balances and credit termsEnsure effective collection practices that protect customer relationships while achieving payment goalsLead process improvements in credit assessment, collections, and cash applicationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve account issues and disputesTrain and develop credit staff to strengthen skills and performanceSupport special projects and company initiatives related to credit risk managementEducation :
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related fieldExperience and / or Training :
Proven leadership and team management skillsStrong knowledge of credit review processes and policy developmentExcellent negotiation and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to create innovative solutions to complex credit challengesIntermediate to advanced Excel skillsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction across all organizational levelsAbility to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlinesSkilled in analyzing and interpreting account data to make informed credit decisionsExperience leading credit and collections in a manufacturing or distribution environmentProven track record of implementing process improvements in credit operationsPHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS :

This anticipated hiring range is based on several factors, and subject to increase based on the below :
