Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in various areas of law. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting senior attorneys in legal research, drafting documents, and providing assistance in case preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough legal research on various topics relevant to ongoing cases and projects.
  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, contracts, and briefs with attention to detail.
  • Assist in the preparation of cases for trial by organizing evidence and preparing exhibits.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide insights based on research findings.
  • Maintain accurate records of case files and documentation within the law office.
  • Attend court hearings and client meetings as needed to support senior attorneys.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact ongoing cases or client interests.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required.
  • Experience or coursework in Securities law, Patent law, Immigration law, Personal injury law, or Tribal law regulations is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong research skills with the ability to analyze complex legal issues effectively.
  • Excellent writing skills with a focus on clarity and precision in legal drafting.
  • Prior experience working in a law office environment is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative and independence when necessary.
