Paralegal for Dallas Law Firm

Overview

The Nacol Law Firm P.C., in Dallas, Texas, has an immediate opening for a skilled licensed paralegal with at least 3 years of experience in Civil Litigation, Transactional, Probate, and Real Estate / HOA Disputes. We are looking for a motivated self-starter with excellent technical skills.

We prepare for each case as if it is going to trial. We have an open-door policy and tackle each case as a team. We are looking for a paralegal that wants to build a career, not just have a job.

Qualifications

• We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter with excellent technical skills.
• Ability to work independently with little direction.
• Ability to draft pleadings, chronologies, orders, and discovery, prepare exhibits, and witness preparation.
• Knowledge of e-filing using Westlaw Form Builder Software, Microsoft Office, Timeslips, Lexis Advance and My Case.
• Must be able to keep track of deadlines and manage attorneys\' calendars.
• Experience in Trial / Mediation / Deposition preparation.
• Knowledge of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, Texas Civil Practice, and Remedy Code.
• Texas Notary Public.
• Must deal professionally and cordially with clients, court, attorneys, and other staff members.
• Education : Associate Degree+ or equivalent.
• Experience : Paralegal for 3 years.
