Safety Co-Op
Scot Forge Company is looking to hire 2 Safety Interns, one in each Spring Grove, IL and Clinton, WI locations. This Co-Op is available from June 2026 to December 2026. A Safety Co-Op at Scot Forge will offer a student the opportunity to practice occupational safety theory in a real-world setting.

Anticipated Projects include :
Administering the safety management system to ensure a safe work environmentHelp to improve safety metrics including the coordination of programs to prevent incidentsLearn safety practices and principles of a manufacturing environmentDeliver a formal presentation to leadership on key project accomplishmentsUpdate policies, procedures and recordsQualifications :
Enrolled in Bachelor or Master degree program in Occupational Safety or Environmental Engineering, Junior standing or above.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointExcellent communications skills, both written and verbalKnowledge of Safety & Environmental regulations and safety management principleAbility to recognize problems / hazards, analyze them, and offer solutions using proven safety / incident investigation analysis tools.Additional Requirements
