Benefits Analyst
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Benefits Analyst, based in St Louis to join our growing team. The Benefits Analyst will play a key role in the administration, analysis, and communication of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, life insurance, ancillary products, wellness initiatives, and other perks. This role will serve as a subject matter expert in benefits compliance and operations, supporting both corporate and subsidiary HR teams. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about enhancing the employee experience through effective benefits strategy and execution.
Primary Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain employee benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with plan guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the daily contact for all benefit-related items and assist associates with benefit questions and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with vendors and brokers to manage benefits plans and resolve service issues.
- Assist in the reconciliation and processing of benefits invoices.
- Assist in the annual open enrollment process, including system setup, testing, employee communications, and presentations.
- Assist in legal compliance documentation such as Plan Documents, Amendments, Summary Plan Descriptions, and required annual notices (e.g., SARs, COBRA, HIPAA).
- Support benefit plan compliance activities including non-discrimination testing, 5500 filings, PCORI fees, ACA oversight and audits.
- Ensure HRIS benefit module is accurately configured and tested for annual enrollment and ongoing changes.
- Support leave of absence management, including coordination with employees, HR partners, and third-party administrators to ensure accurate tracking, compliance, and communication throughout the leave process.
- Complete daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting as required.
- Participate in short- and long-term HR planning initiatives and contribute to strategic benefits projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.2+ years of experience in benefits administration or HR analytics.Strong knowledge of benefits regulations and compliance (ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA).Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Excel; experience with benefits platforms preferred, including ADP and Workday.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.Strong attention to detail and ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.Willingness to travel for enrollment meetings and employee education sessions.About Focus Financial Partners

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $60,000-77,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
