PURPOSE OF POSITION :
The Mobile Logistics Team is responsible for managing the flow of product between the points of origin to final customer delivery. As an integral part of the supply chain, the logistics group ensures the timely delivery of mobile phones and accessories within the United States & Puerto Rico. The Logistics Financial Manager is responsible for financial planning, analysis and projection; forecast future revenues and expenditures to establish cost structures and budget for projects. The financial manager will leverage historical financial data, predict future results, create strategies and plans for the long-term financial goals, and drive process and policy improvements.
The Financial Manager will be accountable for generating monthly forecasts, financial reports, invoice processing, tracking & management, budgeting (operational and overhead costs), managing monthly cost saving initiatives.
The position requires interaction with a broad number of employees to validate data and collaborate on discrepancies found. This position is a key role in the critical analysis of costs associated with the overall mobile logistics operations (Import, Warehouse & Transportation). This position is also responsible for supporting improvement opportunities throughout the organization, for monitoring discrepancies and escalating to appropriate parties.
DUTIES AND RESPONISIBLITIES
Data analysis
Develop financial models that help with decision-making
Produce financial reports related to expenses, budgets, account payables, cost savings, etc.
Develop long-term business plans based on these reports
Review monitoring, and manage budgets
Create and submit monthly forecast and variance analysis
Reallocation of costs to appropriate cost centers
Manage month end closing process
Develop strategies that work to minimize financial risk
Identify opportunities for performance improvement
Work closely with business operations leaders, finance, accounting, HQ, and other logistics members to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives
Understand and calculate the risks involved in the financial activities
Responsible for driving continuous process improvements as related to financial management and reporting
Develop and maintain executive decks of financial performance

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE :
Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related (essential)
Minimum 7 years in financial planning & analysis, accounting, corporate finance, or other related fields
Results driven and ability to handle multiple projects
Profound interest in the growth, efficiency, and profitability of the company
Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Strong analytical, communication, negotiation and presentation skills with an ability to lead meetings and prepare presentations with internal & external stakeholders
High proficiency in MS Excel, & PowerPoint
Experience in a logistics supply chain (operations) environment preferred
Experience with SAP preferred
Korean Bi-Lingual preferred
