We are seeking a Payroll Supervisor to serve as a strategic business partner on payroll and related items. You will lead a team of Human Resources (HR) professionals in providing payroll support services to the county's nearly 14,000 employees!

We Require
Three years of payroll experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, public administration, or related field
A combination of post-secondary education and / or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis
Job Contributions
Assists the Payroll Manager in overseeing the processing of biweekly payroll for over 14,000 employees
Supervises Payroll and Records staff by planning daily tasks / activities, establishing procedures and guidelines, hiring, training, coaching, evaluating performance, disseminating information, and recommending personnel actions
Provides consultation and guidance to human resources teams, department management, and employees regarding payroll and records issues
Works with the Payroll and Records Teams to streamline and improve payroll processes
Conducts special projects and researches, analyzes, and interprets the results
Working Conditions
Work is primarily performed in an office setting, with telework options available
