Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator supports shipping, receiving, and inventory control while ensuring compliance with Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Customer Furnished Property (CFP) requirements. Working under the Contracts Production department, this role reviews contract shipping / reporting requirements, coordinates with internal teams and external carriers, and maintains GFP / CFP accountability in alignment with FAR and DCMA standards.

Core Logistics Responsibilities

• Review contracts to determine shipping, packaging, and reporting requirements.
• Package, ship, and track outgoing orders using carriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS, freight).
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, supplies, and equipment against purchase orders.
• Deliver received materials to the appropriate staff or departments.
• Prepare and complete all shipping / receiving documentation.
• Support cross-training with Production, Inventory, and Quality teams to ensure operational coverage.
• Other duties as assigned
