About gpac

Boutique Law Firm focused on serving businesses by providing reputable counsel and advocacy on labor and employment, corporate, and merger & acquisition matters. The candidate will assist in the development of all manner of employment related contracts, advise business owners on personal issues, defend discrimination, retaliation, harassment and wage-and-hour claims, and assist with due-diligence for M&A matters with regard to labor and employment and HR related matters.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience (preferred) with employment law with knowledge of Kentucky Civil Rights Act, the Kentucky Uniform Trade Secrets Act, Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, USERRA, etc.
• Litigation and dispute resolution experience in state and federal courts as well as other administrative agencies.
• Experience attending mediations and drafting / opposing motions.
• J.D. & good standing with the Kentucky bar.
• Book of Business preferred but not required; compensation is adjusted accordingly.
