The Senior Manager, Change Management & Communications is an individual contributor role that supports the MMS organization by developing comprehensive change management strategies; creating clear, structured, and engaging transformation communications; and leading change management execution in support of major transformation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
This individual will collaborate cross-functionally with key leaders across Platform, Global Commercial Regions, Global Service, Finance, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Business Development, and Medical Affairs to develop and implement actionable change management strategies and communications plans, driving transparency, change adoption, and organizational engagement through out complex and high-impact organizational transformations. In return, the role provides exceptional access to senior leadership and opportunities to contribute to high-impact transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Change Management
- Develop actionable change management strategies for large-scale internal change initiatives with clear goals and expected outcomes
- Drive timely and meticulous execution of change management plans, with measurable success metrics and systemic means to assess and adapt plans as required
- Form, influence, and indirectly lead networks of change champions
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with attention to detail and accuracy
- Build and scale a simple, structured, adaptable, and repeatable change management approach to help individuals and teams transition during transformation journeys
- Coach, mentor, and develop change management capabilities within the BDE & BT team and in the MMS organization
Communications
Create, maintain, and articulate compelling audience-based impact messaging and collateral for a diverse portfolio of transformation initiatives (e.g., technology / tool / innovation enhancements, organizational change, continuous improvement culture, associate engagement)Perform relevant quality and risk reviews of communications, proactively identifying risks, raising them with teammates / stakeholders and suggesting potential courses of actionCreate clear and engaging narratives and content (e.g., Leader guides, emails, FAQs, intranet posts, Viva Engage posts, presentations) that simplify complex and nuanced information related to change management plansStakeholder Engagement
Manage a complex stakeholder set in a highly cross-functional matrixed organization, developing strong relationships, and influencing stakeholdersPartner with senior leaders to align messaging and maintain consistency across all touchpointsWork independently and see projects through from end-to-endQualifications
Education & Certifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business administration, communications, economics)PROSCI Change Management PractitionerPROSCI Change Management Train the TrainerFacilitation certifications preferredExperience
10+ years of relevant experience in building, leading, and executing comprehensive change management & communications strategies5+ years of experience in coaching change management methodologies and building / scaling change management centers of excellence (COE) / community of Practice (COP) to support business transformationExperience partnering with VP level audiences to create and drive change management and communications strategy for organizational redesign initiatives with targeted outcomes of gross profit expansion, op model simplification, and customer experience unification across disparate product platforms for service organizations in the medical technology industryProven experience in leading change management for the following types of change : process, organizational design, continuous improvement projects, technology enhancements, and digital transformation projectsProven experience in driving change management related to lean management deployment (e.g., standard work)Proven experience in leading a change adoption and support team / change champion networkProven experience in supporting change strategy for enterprise-wide transformationsProven experience successfully managing change projects and programsSkills

This is a remote role.Schedule flexibility is required to support global organization.Travel up to 25%, mainly domestic with minimal international travel.Role is eligible for H1B Visa Sponsorship.
