This role offers the opportunity to lead and grow a high-performing software engineering team within a dynamic, fast-paced R&D environment. You will take end-to-end ownership of projects, guiding technical decisions while mentoring and developing engineers to reach their full potential. Collaborating closely with Product, Project Managers, Designers, and stakeholders, you will ensure delivery of high-quality software products while balancing rapid iteration and innovation. Accountabilities
In this role, you will :
- Lead software engineering teams to plan, design, implement, and deliver projects from conception to production.
- Mentor and guide engineers, fostering professional growth, accountability, and high-quality output.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Project Managers, Designers, and stakeholders to align on project priorities and technical approaches.
- Make major design and technology decisions while ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in recruitment efforts, including interviewing candidates, conducting technical assessments, and supporting talent acquisition initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing updates on progress, risks, and solutions.
- Balance hands-on coding, code reviews, and architectural guidance with managerial responsibilities.
Requirements
Candidates should have :
3+ years of experience managing small to medium-sized software development teams, preferably in an agile environment.8+ years of senior engineering experience, including designing APIs, abstractions, and tools used by other engineers.Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft .NET stack (C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs) and SQL databases (Microsoft SQL Server or equivalent).Experience with HTML5, JavaScript, and preferably Typescript and React.Strong familiarity with Git, unit testing, debugging, performance monitoring, and distributed architecture best practices.Excellent communication, technical writing, problem-solving, and leadership skills.Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or related technical field.Preferred qualifications :
