As an Engineering Manager on the Growth team, you will lead a small, high-performing team of engineers dedicated to accelerating customer adoption, engagement, and expansion. You will guide your team in delivering scalable, data-informed features and experiments that drive measurable impact on product growth. This role combines technical leadership with people management, balancing hands-on engineering work with coaching, mentorship, and process improvement. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and analytics teams to define priorities, unblock obstacles, and ensure that your team’s output aligns with strategic objectives. Your work will directly influence product-led growth initiatives while fostering a culture of experimentation, high-quality execution, and continuous learning.
Accountabilities
In this role, you will :
- Lead a team of engineers in designing, implementing, and scaling growth-focused product features and experiments.
- Partner with Product and Design to translate growth opportunities into well-scoped experiments and actionable features.
- Maintain technical involvement by contributing to code, prototypes, A / B tests, and production debugging to uphold high standards.
- Ensure experiments and features are instrumented for measurement and collaborate with Analytics to interpret results and apply learnings.
- Manage the team’s roadmap, delegate ownership with clear decision boundaries, and track outcomes, quality, and timelines.
- Coach, hire, and retain a diverse and high-performing engineering team, providing regular feedback and career development support.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams and cross-functional leaders to deliver initiatives, share best practices, and optimize processes.
- Support partner teams in triaging and resolving production issues, including participation in on-call rotation.
Requirements
Candidates should have :
3+ years of engineering management experience leading high-functioning teams, with a track record of coaching, feedback, and fair promotions.Hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js in delivering scalable, user-facing applications.Demonstrated success delivering growth-focused product features and experiments that drive measurable results in acquisition, activation, retention, or expansion.Strong data fluency and the ability to work with Analytics, SQL, and product logs to validate hypotheses and identify opportunities.Solid computer science fundamentals, supported by a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical concepts to cross-functional partners and facilitate difficult discussions constructively.Enthusiasm for experimentation, data-informed decision-making, and building impactful, user-focused products.Ability to work effectively in a remote environment within the United States and participate in occasional travel for company events.Nice to have :
Experience in B2B or B2C SaaS environments, with exposure to enterprise and expansion growth motions.Familiarity with experimentation platforms, analytics tools, or funnel optimization practices.Experience applying AI or machine learning in growth-focused product development.Benefits
