Job Description
PepsiCo, the global leader in Snacks and Beverages, is seeking Fleet Payables Administrators (Accounts Payable) to join our team in Buena Park, CA. These are temporary roles with potential to convert into full-time opportunities.
This position provides critical support to our field fleet teams and is primarily responsible for accounts payable and invoice processing for fleet expenses . The role involves closing work orders in the maintenance system, preparing scorecards, resolving discrepancies, and proactively communicating with stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work under pressure while maintaining strong communication and collaboration with both internal teams and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Perform accounts payable and administrative duties for fleet operations.
Process and reconcile invoices in alignment with financial practices.
Conduct statement reviews, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly.
Proactively track and alert stakeholders about payment or warranty concerns.
Address vendor and customer inquiries with professionalism.
Prepare and deliver financial and payables reports to management.
Assist in developing SOPs and identify process improvement opportunities.
Provide weekly / periodic financial reporting and fleet scorecards.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Additional duties as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in administrative support, accounts payable, or fleet operations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to learn and operate multiple accounts payable systems.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Customer service–oriented with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible, adaptable, and willing to embrace change.
Scope of Interactions
50% Internal : Collaboration with fleet technicians, managers, and payables teams.
50% External : Daily communication with vendors for payables processes and issue resolution.
Position Level : L02 Equivalent
