Assembly Lead, 1st Shift - Exmark job at The Toro Company. Beatrice, NE.
Hours
2nd Shift 2 : 00pm - 10 : 00pm
Pay $19.59 plus $2.00 shift differential and $2.00 for lead for a total of $23.59
Responsibilities
- Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials to meet production goals.
- Examines items produced to determine if items meet specifications.
- Position parts in specified relationship to each other using general knowledge of product and / or using bills of materials.
- Operates drill presses, punch presses, and / or various power tools to assist in the assembly operation. Must be able to fasten parts together using bolts, screws, and clips.
- Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Meet production quotas and maintain quality standards.
- Must be proficient at multiple workstations so they may work at different stations as production need require.
- Assist with training of new employees.
- Ability to meet the established Advanced Assembler requirements.
- Continually strive to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of p roduct.
- Maintains clean and safe working environment in accordance with 5S standards.
- Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure processes are scientifically controlled and continuously improved.
Qualifications
In order to grow and build a successful career with Exmark, you will be responsible for :High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to write simple correspondence.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and percentages.Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Benefits
